During your visit, why not stay for a picnic or take a walk in our forest walking trails. Where you may pick-your-own apples or either buy them already picked up. Wagon rides. Pony rides and pat small animal such as sheeps, goats and rabbits. Buy homemade products made from blueberries, apples and rhubarb.
Visit of the Research Center in biological dairy production at the Alfred's Campus as well as tastings of biological dairy products. The 120 hectares of the farm are certified biological and are mainly dedicated to the culture of feeds necessary for the supply of the dairy herd. The herd of 85 heads including 50 dairy cows is certified biological since February, 2008.
Come visit ''The Macintosh Apple House'' ". Choose your favourite variety among our great selection (seasoned) such as pears, crab apples and unique jam selection, frozens and chutneys made from our own apples. Seal your thirst with our cider and our delicious apple juice.

Covenant Farm is a small operation whose goal is to develop a diversified, sustainable, and environmentally responsible family farm. We have a large vegetable garden producing for our Community Supported Agriculture members and for sale at maket, and we raise chickens and pigs as well as honeybees. We use organic agriculture methods only. Jean-Pierre & Stephanie, Joël & Catherine and little Karmé and Mateo welcome you to visit.
Come see a local artisan roasting organic, fair-trade coffee on the family farm in Clarence Creek! Sip a cup of coffee, espresso, cappuccino or latte in the shade of the willow tree. An assortment of freshly roasted coffees will be available by the bag.
Savor the apples' sugar taste! Come taste our wines and participate in the manufacturing of our apple cider. Also try our variety of " wines of the Eden " including apple and cranberry, blueberry as well as our apple icewine. While visiting, take a break for a picnic or eat a hot dog and have a beverage which we offer you free of charge as well as the tastings of wine and cheese.
Picking of apples or pumpkins. Come into the shop where you can buy homemade pies, honey, syrup, jams and fudge. On the site: mini-farm, picnic area near a pond, miniature train rides, duck race as well as inside and outside maze. Cannamore Orchard offers also "Spooky Wagon Ride".
The "Domaine Perrault" is a vineyard of 6 000 vines which cultivates approximately 10 varieties of hybrid vines. By opening its doors to the public on October 15th, 2006, the "Domaine Perrault" has marked the agricultural history by becoming the first vineyard within the city of Ottawa. Marcel Sarazin, the main winemaker of the vineyard, impresses the amateurs of wine by producing red wines, white wines, rosé as well as outstanding dessert wines.
Visit the vineyard to know everything on the wine production while tastins our red, white and rosé whines. You will have several other options as: white and red icewines and two new appetizers. Participate in guided tours to have a direct contact with our red deers. Feast on sausages and hamburgers by tasting the Mrs Nicole's fine cuisine. Be eligible for the drawing of two 60.00 $ vouchers. It is all possible at the "Domaine du Cervin".

Present the rural life of the 1920s and 1930s. The Museum includes 29 historic buildings on a site of a 25 hectare surface in the village of Cumberland. There, you will find seven houses and six buildings representing residential and agricultural architecture as well as public buildings. You can also visit a railway station, a sawmill and a forge in operation, and finally a historic gas station of the oil company.

Most people are surprised to hear about a commercial producer of cranberries in the Estern Ontario. Our products are fresh cranberries (within season), cranberry juice, great variety of canned cranberries and sweet and dry cranberries.
Come see Bearbrook Farm of the Ottawa valley, visit the live game farm or the kids playground area. You will not be disappointed! Bearbrook has a Butcher's shop and Delicatessen specialized in the game, such as the ostrich, the emu, the bison, the wild boar, the wapiti and the roe deer. All the exotic meats in North America can be found in Walter's store.
To give us the possibility to have a stable life, we transformed an old school bus into a "AVIARY". Our inventory consists of exotic birds such as the pheasant (over 15 species) the peacock, the turkey, the quail, the guinea fowl, the dove, the pigeon and more. It will be a pleasure to welcome you in our "AVIARY" and to offer you certain by-products.

The beekeeping has been a family business for the past three generations, considering that our two sons have begun their apprenticeship this summer. Distributed in Alfred's Township, around thirty hives are inhabited by bees which visit every year thousands of flowers to produce the good honey which pleases of our customers. Come visit us to taste the result of the bees’ hard work and to learn a little more on the other products of the hive such as the pollen, the wax and the propolis. We also make soaps and candles from the bees-wax. A variety of products will be available to purchase and if you wish to save, bring your containers and we shall fill them with good freshly made honey of the Alfred Township.

As you drive down the long country driveway you will see a beautiful view of the apple orchard as well as the South Nation River and its surrounding area, you may also wish to take a walk through the orchard or on a long trail going towards the river and back to the orchard. The orchard also allows for photographers to take wonderful pictures of the trees as well as a red bridge surrounded by weeping willows.
